Already Over 100,000 Orders for Opel Crossland X

Bestseller in the making: More than 100,000 customers have already ordered the Opel Crossland X since the start of sales about one year ago.

Just one year after the order books opened and already a bestseller: 100,000 customers across Europe have chosen the Opel Crossland X. Extremely crisp on the outside, really spacious and extra variable on the inside, with a cool two-colour finish and a casual SUV look: the Crossland X hits the bull's eye in the SUV-B market.

Crisp, spacious and versatile: Qualities like these have already convinced more than 100,000 customers to order the Opel Crossland X.
"With typically Opel technology such as ergonomic AGR front seats, which are unique in this market segment, the Crossland X plays a key role in our ongoing product offensive”, said Peter Küspert, Managing Director Sales and Marketing, Opel Automobile GmbH. “Together with its X- family siblings, the Mokka X and the Grandland X, it will be available in 2018 for the first time over a full calendar year and make an important contribution to growth.”

The Crossland X was the first joint project between Groupe PSA and Opel in the cooperation that began between both companies in 2012. The car shares its architecture with the Citroën C3 Aircross and both cars are produced in the Zaragoza plant in Spain.

The Crossland X offers a host of state-of-the-art driver assistance systems such as Driver Drowsiness Alert and Lane Departure Warning, Forward Collision Alert with pedestrian detection and Automatic Emergency Braking, high-tech Full LED headlights, 180-degree Panoramic Rear View Camera and Side Blind Spot Alert.

The car is powered by a portfolio of efficient diesel, petrol and LPG engines from 1.2 to 1.6 litres in displacement with outputs ranging from 55 kW/75 hp to 96 KW/130 hp, combined with a choice of five and six-speed manual or six-speed automatic transmissions (official fuel consumption in accordance with the New European Driving Cycle urban 8.4[1]-4.11 l/100 km, extra-urban 6.01-3.31 l/100 km, combined 6.91-3.61 l/100 km, official specific combined CO2 emissions 123-931 g/km; efficiency class C-A+).

The Crossland X is the third member of the Opel X-family of trendy sport utility vehicles, alongside the robust Mokka X and the larger compact-class Grandland X. The X-family enjoys increasing popularity. In Germany, for example, the trio took first place in the SUV segment statistics of the Federal Motor Transport Authority (KBA) in the first two months of the year.

  • Top of the class: Opel Mokka is the star of the subcompact SUVs in Europe
  • Safe: Adaptive all-wheel drive especially valuable in the winter months
  • Trendy: Personal connectivity and service assistant Opel OnStar ensures relaxed drive

SUV bestseller: Opel Mokka has been ordered 500,000 times already.
Opel Mokka, the shooting star under the SUVs, has reached new heights with the 500,000th unit of the bestseller now having been ordered. Ever since its launch around three years ago, the Mokka has impressed with stylish design, high practicality, frugal engines and ultra-modern technologies such as adaptive all-wheel drive. In addition, Mokka owners are always fully connected with the personal connectivity and service assistant Opel OnStar, which offers extensive services at the push of a button. All of these virtues have helped the compact SUV win numerous awards. The Opel Mokka is a two-time winner of the “All-wheel Drive Car of the Year” award and a winner of the “Company Car of the Year” award.

“People looking for a robust, compact SUV with a high level of functionality and best quality at affordable prices drive Opel Mokka,” said Peter Christian Küspert, Vice President Sales & Aftersales Opel Group. “The customers love the offer proposed by our popular SUV. Therefore, it leads registrations in its class regularly. Under consideration of a longer time period, the Mokka is an undisputed member of the top three registered SUVs.” Across Europe, the Mokka registered a sales increase of 16 percent in 2015.

Recipe for success: Modern engines, all-wheel drive and outstanding connectivity

Opel Mokka offers complete suitability for everyday use for up to five people within a compact length of 4.28 meters. Furthermore, it comes with refined and powerful engines with the frugal latest generation turbo diesel units leading the way. In combination with a six-speed manual transmission, the diesel engines, optionally available with 81 kW/110 hp or 100 kW/136 hp, curb fuel consumption to 4.3-4.1 liters per 100 kilometers, which is equivalent to CO2 emissions of 114-106 grams per kilometer, for the combined cycle. The “large” diesel can also be combined with adaptive all-wheel drive (Combined fuel consumption: 4.7-4.5 l/100 km: CO2 emissions: 124-119 g/km). The 4x4 system automatically recognizes where the most traction is required and divides the propulsive power accordingly – providing a considerable boost in safety especially in wet and slippery conditions.

Opel Mokka SUV - Adaptive 4x4 System
The Opel bestseller does not only come with high-tech drive solutions – it also offers outstanding connectivity. Just like most other Opel models, the Mokka is now available with Opel OnStar. The personal connectivity and service assistant proposes a wide range of services ranging from Automatic Crash Response and Roadside Assistance to remote Vehicle Diagnostics via the myOpel smartphone app or a powerful 4G/LTE Wi-Fi hotspot for up to seven devices.

!NEW! European Invasion: Holden Astra and Cascada Launch

  • Holden launches European-sourced Astra GTC, Astra VXR and Cascada convertible
  • Astra available in performance focused 1.6L turbo and 2.0L turbo engines
  • Cascada convertible introduced with a Special Launch Edition

2015 Holden Astra GTC Sport

2015 Holden Astra VXR

Holden’s introduction of the stylish and sporty Astra alongside the elegant Cascada convertible marks the beginning of an exciting product onslaught by Holden, promising to deliver 24 major vehicle launches and 36 powertrain combinations in the next five years.

2015 Holden Cascada Convertible
The European manufactured Astra and Cascada are both designed and engineered in Germany, at Opel’s Russelsheim base, and exhibit the exceptional build quality and refinement synonymous with European cars.

Engineering integrity and the promise of outstanding road performance is ensured after long, demanding validation testing - 10,000kms of which for VXR was completed at the iconic mecca for all driving enthusiasts; the Nurburgring Nordschliefe track.

Holden’s Executive Director – Sales, Peter Keley, said Astra and Cascada would act as aspirational, halo vehicles to Holden, and Holden Dealers were excited to finally take delivery of the cars.

“Astra and Cascada exhibit all the hallmarks of premium European manufactured cars.  Both are visually stunning with great road presence and exceptional build quality.” Mr Keley said.

“We are confident these are the right cars for Australia, giving buyers a vehicle to aspire to own and this is something echoed by our Dealers.

“Dealers nationwide have expressed interest and excitement in Astra and Cascada and are looking forward to getting their hands on them.”

ASTRA

The Holden Astra nameplate became a firm favourite with Australian drivers and resonated with those looking for European performance when it was first launched in 1996.  The refreshed 2015 Holden Astra is introduced in GTC and GTC Sport trim levels in addition to the ultra-sporty VXR, exuding exceptional road presence and a stylish, unmistakably European design.

ASTRA GTC AND GTC SPORT

2015 Holden Astra GTC Sport
Astra GTC and GTC Sport are stylish, progressive looking sports hatches that effortlessly blend drive comfort with a sports look and feel.  Both come equipped with a lively 1.6 litre turbocharged engine coupled with a responsive six-speed manual or automatic transmission.

The automatic transmission is accompanied by active select and when combined with the 1.6 litre turbo engine provides 125 kW power and 260 Nm torque, ensuring an exciting and engaging driving experience.  In the even sportier, manual transmission, Astra offers an increased 147 kW power and 280 Nm torque, targeted at those wanting a more dynamic drive.

The European engineered Astra comes with a high-tech HiPerStrut front suspension to offer improved handling characteristics and direct steering response.  With a shortened spindle length and reduced kingpin inclination, Astra’s HiPerStrut helps prevent the torque steer so often seen in powerful front-wheel-drive cars.

Sportec bolster sports seat (leather appointed in GTC Sport)
Inside Astra GTC and GTC Sport the European design and engineering excels with Sportec bolster sports seat (leather appointed in GTC Sport) and the award winning Holden MyLink infotainment system taking centre stage.  The MyLink system comes with a seven-inch colour screen display, integrated Pandora®, Stitcher™ and TuneIn Radio apps as well as satellite navigation.

2015 Holden Astra GTC Sport - MyLink system comes with a seven-inch colour screen display, integrated Pandora®, Stitcher™ and TuneIn Radio apps as well as satellite navigation.
In addition to the impressive list of features already available on Astra GTC, GTC Sport adds 19-inch alloy wheels, alloy sports pedals, leather sports seats and a sports body kit to earn the ‘Sport’ name it proudly bares.

ASTRA VXR

2015 Holden Astra VXR

Sitting at the top of the Astra model range, Astra VXR is the ultimate ‘hot hatch’, boasting a 2.0 litre turbocharged engine which is able to unleash 206 kW of power and a staggering 400 Nm of torque.  Brembo front brakes provide a security net to accompany the Astra VXR’s unbridled power, in addition to electro-hydraulic steering for a direct, engaging steering feel, allowing drivers to put the car precisely where they want it.

Astra VXR is a ‘no holds barred’ sports hatch that is as at home on track as in the city.  Key to its versatility is the acclaimed FlexRide tuning system which allows drivers to choose from three pre-configured ride settings according to their environment:
  • Standard – all-round performance with comfort
  • Sport – stiffer chassis, improved agility and more direct steering
  • VXR – more direct steering, more responsive throttle, and tuned for maximum performance
Supporting Astra VXR’s impressive dynamic setup is its unmistakable appearance and superior road presence.  VXR wears 20-inch alloy wheels, coupled with VXR sports body kit, alloy sports pedals and VXR steering wheel.

2015 Holden Astra VXR - Eight-way adjustable VXR leather appointed sports seats with power bolsters and lumbar support for both driver and passenger.

Like its calmer siblings, VXR is well equipped inside too.  As well as offering the same MyLink infotainment system as GTC and GTC Sport, it also shows off eight-way adjustable VXR leather appointed sports seats with power bolsters and lumbar support for both driver and passenger.

CASCADA

2015 Holden Cascada Convertible
Setting a new benchmark in attainable luxury, Cascada is an elegant, yet responsive, full size four-seat convertible designed for beachside cruising and the open road.

Formally known as Astra Convertible, Cascada has established a name in its own right with its ability to appeal to a completely different type of buyer.

Cascada will be available in two guises from launch; Cascada and a special Cascada Launch Edition, of which only 50 units will be available.

CASCADA

CASCADA LAUNCH EDITION

A limited number of just 50 special, Cascada Launch Edition vehicles will be available to celebrate the return of the convertible body style to the Holden range.

!NEW! Opel Reveals Fifth-Generation Corsa

  • New drive: New chassis, new generation engine and transmission technology
  • New standard: High quality interior with IntelliLink and host of assistance systems
  • World premiere: Opel’s bestseller to debut in October at Paris Motor Show
New Opel Corsa offers plenty of room for up to five occupants – in both family-friendly, five-door (left) and dynamic, sporty three-door (right) body formats
Opel today reveals the new, fifth generation of the Corsa. Opel’s bestseller aims to offer a new driving experience in the small-car market segment by raising the bar for chassis, engine and gearbox performance. The new, refined and efficient 1.0-liter three-cylinder turbo engines, smooth-shifting transmissions, the new suspension and optimized steering deliver class-leading levels of comfort and precision.

New Opel Corsa comes with a totally new interior that enhances the perception of high quality and spaciousness, including best-connected IntelliLink infotainment technology
The new Corsa also comes with a totally new interior that enhances the perception of high quality and spaciousness, including best-connected IntelliLink infotainment technology and ultra-modern driver assistance systems. Opel’s designers have also given the new Corsa a dynamic shape in line with the brand’s design philosophy, introducing flowing, sculptural forms and precise detailing. The new Corsa is equipped with everything required to ensure continuation of 32 years of success in a highly competitive market segment. The fifth generation of Opel’s bestseller will make its world premiere at the “Mondial de l’Automobile 2014” in Paris (October 4 to 19), rolling off the assembly lines in Zaragoza and Eisenach before the end of the year.

Family-friendly five-door body format: Opel’s designers have given the new Corsa a dynamic shape in line with the brand’s design philosophy, introducing flowing, sculptural forms and precise detailing
“The Opel Corsa has always been widely praised, particularly for its appealing looks and an efficient use of space within compact dimensions,” says Opel CEO Dr. Karl-Thomas Neumann. “This has been a decisive factor in the model’s enduring popularity, and we are, of course, carrying this core appeal forward in the new generation. Thanks to many new technologies, we are also offering a fantastic driving experience, which raises the standard in this vehicle class. The fifth Corsa generation will be full of surprises.”

Sporty three-door Corsa: The fifth generation of Opel’s bestseller will make its world premiere at the “Mondial de l’Automobile 2014” in Paris (October 4 to 19)
Recipe for success: Youthful design and generous space in compact dimensions

Five generations at a glance: Opel Corsa B, D, E, C and A (from left)
Across four generations spanning 32 years, almost 12 million Corsas have been sold in Europe, including 2.8 million from the current fourth generation. With average yearly sales of 370,000 units, the Opel Corsa is one of the most enduringly popular models in its segment. A key to its success is outstanding space efficiency: within a compact length of 4 meters, Opel’s bestseller offers plenty of room for up to five occupants – in both family-friendly, five-door and dynamic, sporty three-door body formats. At the same time, the Corsa’s exterior design conveys practicality and strong, stand-out appeal with its youthful, dynamic looks. The new Corsa generation now seamlessly carries forward this recipe for success – while being radically different. Its exterior design is fresher, more sophisticated and has even more character.

Opel Corsa E: The bold face is characterized by the wing shaped headlights incorporating Opel’s signature wing LED daytime running lights
The bold face is characterized by the “wing” shaped headlights incorporating Opel’s signature “wing” LED daytime running lights and the low sporty trapezoidal grille, with its dynamic bar supporting the Opel emblem. The sculptured body sides feature Opel’s typical dynamic “blade” body signature. At the rear end the wide horizontal split tail lights help to visually widen the car and flow through to the rear shoulders, giving it an even better stance. But it’s when you sit in the new Corsa and drive it that the change is the most apparent. The completely new cabin featuring clear, elongated shapes and a mix of sophisticated materials, together with the substantially more comfortable chassis, sharper steering, all-new powertrains and significantly lower noise levels all combine to ensure a completely new driving experience.

Sporty three-door Opel Corsa E

Absolute precision: New chassis and new steering for highest driving stability

New chassis and steering systems: For driving experience comparable to larger, more expensive cars in terms of comfort and precision.
The top priority for the Opel engineering development team was to provide Corsa customers with a driving experience comparable to larger, more expensive cars in terms of comfort and precision. New chassis and steering systems provide the foundation. The chassis does not inherit a single component from the current Corsa. Straight line and cornering stability is increased thanks to a 5 millimeter lower center of gravity, a stiffer sub-frame, a new suspension geometry including a new front knuckle. Roll behavior, steering response and understeer characteristics are all improved. New damping characteristics also give the fifth-generation Corsa better filtration of disturbances from potholes and uneven road surfaces, providing exemplary comfort in a small car.

New damping characteristics also give the fifth-generation Corsa better filtration of disturbances from potholes and uneven road surfaces, providing exemplary comfort in a small car.

The development of a completely new electrical architecture for the fifth generation Corsa enables a more sophisticated level of interaction between its various systems. Together with a new steering geometry and steering software calibration, this enhanced system benefits the new, speed-sensitive electric power steering: it has a more precise response and improves both driving pleasure and comfort. A new standard feature in all Corsa E models that allows reducing steering effort at low speeds, the City mode is easily activated at the press of a button.

Opel Corsa E: City mode button
As for the current Corsa, customers can choose between two chassis set-ups, Comfort and Sport. The Sport chassis has stiffer springs and shock absorbers as well as a specific steering geometry and calibration for a more direct response.

Engine highlight: Latest generation 1.0 ECOTEC Direct Injection Turbo

Powerful: New, refined and efficient 1.0 liter three-cylinder turbo engines
The highlight under the hood of the new so-called “Corsa E” of the fifth generation is the installation of Opel’s newly-developed three-cylinder, 1.0 ECOTEC Direct Injection Turbo, part of the brand’s major powertrain offensive. This ultra-modern pocket powerhouse is the only 1,0 liter three-cylinder production engine with a balance shaft, which enables it set a new class benchmark for exceptionally low noise, vibration and harshness (NVH) characteristics, as well as high driving comfort. The compact, all-aluminum 1.0 ECOTEC Direct Injection Turbo, which of course already meets Euro 6 emission standards, is available in two output configurations, giving 66 kW/90 hp or 85 kW/115 hp. Both shine with excellent responsiveness and strong low-end torque, pumping out 170 Nm from just 1,800 rpm. Opel’s new, small-displacement three-cylinder engine is fitted with Start/Stop technology as standard.

Opel Corsa E: The new, refined and efficient 1.0-liter three-cylinder turbo engines, smooth-shifting transmissions, the new suspension and optimized steering deliver class-leading levels of comfort and precision

The new Corsa’s gasoline powertrain line-up is also extended with the introduction of a new 74 kW/100 hp 1.4-liter turbo engine with 200 Nm maximum torque, as well as further developed, Euro 6 compliant 1.2 and 1.4-liter naturally-aspirated units. In addition, completely revised, more refined and now also Euro 6 compliant 1.3 CDTI engines with 55 kW/75 hp and 70 kW/95 hp expand the Corsa offer on the diesel side. At launch, the most frugal Corsa version – with 70 kW/95 hp, 5-speed manual transmission and Start/Stop – emits just 89 g/km CO2. Additional low emission variants will follow as soon as next spring.

But it is not just completely new and further developed engines that make driving the new Corsa even more fun and comfortable. The introduction of new transmissions also contributes to the enhanced driving experience and improvement in efficiency. Both versions of the 1.0 ECOTEC Direct Injection Turbo are mated to an all-new, compact six-speed manual gearbox. Highlights include greater efficiency, thanks to low friction design and a precise shift feel. Changing gears in the new Corsa is comfortable and smooth, as well as fast and precise. With the launch of the new Corsa, Opel also offers its newest-generation six-speed automatic transmission, as well as the completely new Easytronic 3.0 automated manual transmission giving enhanced, smoother responsiveness – the perfect way to affordably combine the comfort of an automatic with the efficiency of a manual.

Best connectivity with top safety: IntelliLink and Driver Assistance Systems

Eye-catching: The new Corsa comes with a totally new interior that enhances the perception of high quality and spaciousness, including best-connected IntelliLink infotainment technology and ultra-modern driver assistance systems
Cleanly designed, the cabin of the new Corsa is organized around an eye-catching driver control center whose instrument panel fascia is designed around horizontal lines that optically enhance the generous interior spaciousness. The IntelliLink system’s 7-inch color touchscreen is ideally located on the center stack, close to the gear shift. This allows the driver’s hand to swiftly and naturally move between the transmission control and the touchscreen. The new Corsa’s state-of-the-art infotainment system offers best connectivity opportunities, is compatible with Apple and Android devices and can be operated by voice command. Bluetooth and Siri Eyes Free can also be used. Several apps are available such as BringGo for navigation, as well as Stitcher and TuneIn for internet radio and podcasts, and there is a practical FlexDock parking and charging station for smartphones.

Smart: state-of-the-art infotainment system offers best connectivity opportunities, is compatible with Apple and Android devices and can be operated by voice command.
The new Corsa introduces a host of driver assistance systems, many of which are unrivalled in its vehicle class. Safety is increased thanks to new systems that are all available in the Corsa for the first time – such as Bi-Xenon headlamps with cornering light (AFL), the Side Blind Spot Alert (SBSA) and the Opel Eye front camera with Road Sign Recognition (RSR), Lane Departure Warning (LDW), High Beam Assist (HBA), Following Distance Indication (FDI) and Forward Collision Warning (FCW). To provide maximum safety, Forward Collision Alert uses a red, head-up warning that is projected into the windscreen. In addition, the Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) display warns the driver in the event of excessive pressure loss in one of the tires.

New Instrument panel with large graphic info display
Driving comfort is also improved by the Advanced Park Assist (APA 2) that automatically steers during parking maneuvers, as well as by the Rear View Camera and the Hill Start Assist (HSA). The steering wheel, front seats and now the windshield can all be heated to provide cozy warmth in the cabin and good visibility on cold days. The high-class interior features finely sculpted front seats boasting superb workmanship, a large panorama roof, and pleasant ambient lighting, which lends the cabin a warm, welcoming atmosphere.

New Bi-Xenon headlamps with cornering light and with LED DRL

And for active sportsmen and women, the new Corsa’s characteristic rear end optionally integrates the practical FlexFix bicycle carrier, which is exclusively offered by Opel.

Opel today introduced the Meriva MPV, the newest member of its China lineup, at the Chengdu Motor Show 2013 – this year’s premier auto show in western China. The innovative, flexible and stylish multi-purpose vehicle will go on sale in Q4 2013.

Opel Products Fleet in China
“Opel has brought several important members from its global product portfolio to China this year,” said Luo Yong, Director of GM China Opel Operations. “This represents our commitment to meet the strong demand for high-quality German-engineered vehicles in a key market for Opel.”

Dynamic Exterior and Easy Rear Access

The Meriva’s distinct exterior is characterized by a low, sweeping roofline and Opel’s signature blade side-body motif. Multiple U-shaped curved surfaces add to its dynamic stance. The Meriva also incorporates many of Opel’s signature design elements, such as a front feature line, an outward horizontal grille, and a combination of boomerang-like curved daytime running lights and “eagle-eye” headlamps.

The Meriva offers enhanced back-seat access with its innovative rear-hinged FlexDoors. The full-size doors can open up to 84 degrees, which is much wider than the usual 67 degrees of conventional doors. A high upper doorframe and low doorsill add to the ease of entry to the Meriva.

The MPV has a panoramic glass roof that extends two meters, which makes the whole interior light and airy. It also has a rear window line that is five centimeters lower than the front window line, improving visibility for passengers in back.

Spacious and Reconfigurable Interior

Inside, Opel Meriva has a wraparound wing-shaped instrument panel with matte metallic and chrome accents as well as leather amenities with exquisite European-style stitching. Its eight-way adjustable seats, which offer class-leading comfort, received the seal of approval from the Aktion Gesunder Rücken (AGR, Action for Healthy Backs).

The interior is spacious. With the Opel Meriva’s innovative FlexSpace rear seating system, the central rear seat can be folded down to serve as a comfortable armrest. The flexible 4:2:4 split-folding rear seats provide a cargo compartment of 400 liters up to 920 liters. Using a simple strap system, the seats can be reconfigured with one hand.

Advanced Powertrain and Safety Features

Opel Meriva is powered by an advanced fuel-efficient 1.4 liter turbocharged engine that delivers maximum power of 88 kW at 4,800-6,000 rpm. The engine is matched with an ActiveSelect® six-speed automatic transmission.

Opel Meriva is also equipped with a series of intelligent safety systems, including the electronic stability program, Adaptive Forward Lighting (AFL), and front and rear parking sensors. The ISOFIX system provides a strong link between a child safety seat and the vehicle.

In addition, Opel Meriva has a rigid passenger cell with a state-of-the-art energy-absorbing structure, providing maximum protection to all occupants. Opel Meriva was awarded a maximum five-star Euro NCAP safety rating.

Joining the Meriva at the Chengdu Motor Show 2013 are the Opel Insignia Sports Tourer, Zafira Tourer and Astra GTC – which were launched in China earlier this year – and the Opel Antara. All of the award-winning models are available at Opel dealers nationwide.

!NEW! Opel to Bring Advanced Technologies and Features to China in New Products

Opel will be bringing several new products to China over the coming year. The imported models, which will be announced shortly, will offer a range of advanced technologies and features. They include the FlexRide chassis control system, Adaptive Forward Lighting (AFL) and a panoramic windshield.

FlexRide Chassis Control System
The FlexRide chassis control system has three settings that enable users to change the car’s character with the push of a button: the balanced Standard mode, the comfort oriented Tour mode and the more active Sport mode.

The system manages acceleration, shifting and the intervention threshold of the car's electronic control system. This enhances stability for better cornering and steering response by automatically adapting to road conditions, cornering speed, vehicle movement and individual driving style.

The Sport mode, for example, emphasizes speed. Acceleration is more dynamic and feedback is more responsive. Tour mode will please those taking medium and long distance trips. Its acceleration response is more moderate and its gear shifts are smoother. The suspension absorbs most of the road vibration, providing a more stable ride.

Adaptive Forward Lighting (AFL)
Opel has long been an industry leader in research and development. It was the first car company to bring Adaptive Forward Lighting (AFL) to the market in 2002. The system features bi-xenon, gas-discharge headlamps that provide variable light beam distribution in terms of width, direction and range. The system has several lighting functions, including adverse weather light, dynamic curve light, cornering light and high beam light assistant, as well as LED daytime running lamps.

AFL received the Advanced award from the European New Car Assessment Program (Euro NCAP) independent consumer organization.

Panoramic Windshield
The Opel design philosophy places a particular emphasis on balancing functionality and comfort. The panoramic windshield is a classic example. The feature is popular with Opel owners, and is available on both the Astra and Zafira Tourer. The completely transparent windshield extends over the heads of passengers. Along with the narrow A-pillar and wide side windows, it ensures a superb field of view while providing a light, airy and comfortable driving experience.
