VAUXHALL EXPANDS SAFETY CHECK FOR CORSA AND ADAM

Following on-site investigations at a supplier, Vauxhall is expanding its safety check for Corsa and ADAM back to vehicles registered since February 2014. This is in addition to the vehicles registered since May 2014 that have already been communicated. These additional vehicles may also have been manufactured with the steering system part that did not meet specification and should not be driven prior to inspection.

Vauxhall is connecting with customers via a number of channels. Owners can find out if their vehicle is affected by going to www.vauxhall.co.uk/recall.html and following the instructions on the website. They can also call the Vauxhall Customer Assistance line on 0800 026 0034 (09.00 to 19.00 Monday to Friday and until 17.00 at weekends) or The AA on 0800 553388 (07.00 to midnight 7 days per week). If their car is affected, the customer will also be automatically contacted by letter from Vauxhall using the DVSA (VOSA) recognised recall process utilising DVLA registration information.

The company first became aware of the condition during routine quality controls at the vehicle production plant. Customers who have additional questions can obtain immediate assistance using the numbers above.
