Opel / Vauxhall expands safety check for Corsa and ADAM by about 1,000 cars

Following on-site investigations at a supplier, Opel / Vauxhall is expanding its safety check for Corsa and ADAM to include about another 1,000 cars in Europe. This is in addition to the 8,000 that were communicated last week. The additional vehicles have been delivered since February this year. These vehicles have also been manufactured with a steering system part that does not meet specification and should not be driven prior to inspection. Thus a total of about 9,000 cars need the part replaced.

Opel/Vauxhall is contacting customers via multiple channels. Owners can find out by themselves if their vehicle is affected by going to their local website and following the instructions there. In case their car is affected, the customer will also be automatically contacted by Opel / Vauxhall. The company first became aware of the condition during routine quality controls at the vehicle production plant. Customers who have additional questions can obtain immediate assistance under a hotline number on the website.
