New multimedia and navigation infotainment system takes Opel Mokka to next level. Cockpit utilises Qualcomm Technologies’ next generation Snapdragon Cockpit Platform and Snapdragon Auto Connectivity Platform 1 to enable premium in-vehicle experiences, including state-of-the-art graphics, multimedia and enhanced connectivity capabilities such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and 4G.

Further developed bestseller now offers a 10-inch digital driver information display and an equally large colour touchscreen as standard. Latter can be easily operated via widgets, just like a smartphone – alternatively and in combination with the optional navigation system, a ‘Hey Opel’ is enough to use  natural voice recognition. Both displays can be personalised in many ways. System recognises driver's personal profile on connected smartphone; connection is always wireless in new Opel Mokka. Various virtual shortcuts can be set up on central screen and up to seven different colour schemes for preferred ambience offer further customisation options.

When ordered with integrated navigation system, map updates are made available automatically over-the-air. System also constantly learns and – based on habits of linked driver profile – independently suggests destinations and routes. myOpel app can also be used to easily send the destination and the corresponding route to the vehicle. Another advantage for drivers of all-electric Opel Mokka Electric: After entering the desired destination, the remaining charge level of the battery upon arrival is displayed. This is determined according to the previous driving style. Route can also be planned including charging stops along the way. System then calculates possible driving and charging times. And the screen of the battery-electric SUV provides customers with a wide range of information and statistics on energy consumption, charge level and remaining range, as well as energy recuperation.

So much information: ChatGPT makes new Opel Mokka even smarter

In addition, Opel offers an innovative solution for new Mokka and other models to make it easier to find your way around in unfamiliar surroundings or simply to make long journeys more entertaining: ChatGPT 2, which is available in conjunction with Connected Navigation. With functionalities of this generative AI technology, Opel drivers and passengers have access to a wide range of information from a long list of topics. Technology, developed by OpenAI, can return it to its users in a sophisticated and precise way.

For example, when looking for a restaurant in an unfamiliar city, ChatGPT 2 can make suggestions based on personal preferences and offers routing to the chosen destination. It can also answer questions such as which artist performed a certain song, who starred in a blockbuster movie – it can even create a quiz to increase the entertainment factor.

Thus, ChatGPT 2 is another example of how Opel is making top technologies accessible and affordable for a wide range of customers. This has also been recognised by the high-profile international AUTOBEST jury which awarded Opel and other Stellantis brands with the ‘SMARTBEST 2025’ for the introduction of ChatGPT 2 in their models. Award recognises pioneering solutions for onboard connectivity in vehicles.

Enhance convenience and security: Digital displays, multiple connectivity options

In addition to wireless connection of compatible smartphones to infotainment system, personal mobile device can also be charged wirelessly in centre console of new Opel Mokka. Furthermore, portable devices such as smartphones and tablets can also be connected via the USB-C socket in the centre console.

Elsewhere, the new high-definition 180-degree rear-view camera ensures excellent visibility when manoeuvring in the city. When reverse gear is engaged, the view behind the vehicle is displayed on the 10-inch infotainment monitor. In addition to visualisation, signal and warning sounds support manoeuvring in tight spaces.

In all of this, clarity and intuitive operation of assistance systems, infotainment and setting options such as air conditioning were focus of development of Opel Mokka cockpit. Engineers and designers have integrated some settings that could previously be controlled via buttons into the central colour touchscreen. And assistance systems, which are not essential for every situation, can be easily deactivated and switched on again at the touch of just one button. Inside, the electric van offers plenty of space as a shuttle as well as an everyday and holiday vehicle for the extended family; depending on the variant, the new Zafira has up to 9 seats or a maximum of 4,900 litres of storage space. There are also numerous state-of-the-art assistance systems – up to 18 optionally – which increase both safety and comfort. New Opel Zafira Electric: Comfortable, modern VIP shuttle for up to nine people

Latest Zafira generation is the first to feature the Opel Vizor brand face – like all new Opel models – and draws attention with the bold and pure design of the front fascia, which flows seamlessly into the LED headlights. The new Zafira Electric impresses not only with its design, but above all with its practical strengths. The battery-electric van is available in two lengths (4.98 metres and 5.33 metres), in two equipment variants (Edition and GS) and with numerous customisation options, while the XL version offers optional space for up to 9 people. The rear is particularly comfortable with four independent, face-to-face seats, which turn the new Zafira Electric into a VIP shuttle. Entry and exit to rows two and three is made easier by optional sensor-controlled, electric sliding doors on both sides of the vehicle (standard with GS equipment). The optionally available panorama glass roof creates an even airier atmosphere.

New Opel Zafira Electric in the 9-seat configuration has a loading volume of up to 1,500 litres; with 5 people, luggage with a volume of up to 3,000 litres can be transported, and with 2 or 3 people on board, 4,900 litres. Particularly practical in shuttle services from hotels and the like: similar to its predecessor, the new Zafira measures just 1.90 metres in height and is therefore fully suitable for underground parking.

Travel further: All-electric range up to 347 kilometres (WLTP 1) without charging stop

All-electric Zafira Electric is even better than before in terms of efficiency and range. It is available with either a 50 kWh or a 75 kWh battery. With the further developed 75 kWh battery on board, a range of up to 347 kilometres (WLTP1) is possible without stopping to charge – over 20 kilometres more than before. In order to be particularly energy-efficient on the road, the Zafira Electric (like its “little brother”, the Opel Combo Electric, which is also already available to order) has a regenerative braking system that can be set to three recuperation levels using the paddle shifters behind the steering wheel. The shuttle, family and travel all-rounder can be quickly charged with alternating current (AC) using the 11 kW onboard charger that comes as standard in Germany. At a 100 kW DC fast charging station, a stop of around 38 minutes for the 50 kWh battery and 45 minutes for the 75 kWh battery is necessary to charge to 80 per cent of the battery capacity.

New Opel Zafira Electric is powered by a 100 kW (136 hp) electric motor; the maximum torque of 260 Newton meters is available at the first touch of the pedal, as is typical for electric vehicles, so that the locally emissions-free van can accelerate quickly to a top speed of 130 km/h. Depending on their preference, drivers can choose between the three driving modes Normal, Eco and Power.

Safety and comfort: Top infotainment, up to 18 modern assistance systems

Safety is also part of a relaxed journey. And this is a top priority for the new Opel Zafira Electric. The spacious people-mover offers up to 18 state-of-the-art driver assistance systems. Highlights include the adaptive cruise control with stop and go function as well as the high-resolution 180-degree rear view camera (standard on the GS). It makes turning and manoeuvring easier with additional sensors at the front and rear as well as flank guard and blind spot warning. Numerous other systems including Intelli-Grip with hill descent assist for traction on difficult surfaces such as snow, mud or sand complement the portfolio. For optimum vision in the dark, Full-LED headlights are standard in every variant.

Ergonomic cockpit also increases safety and comfort. The optional fully digital 10-inch digital driver information centre (standard on GS) provides all important information, including the navigation system and also offers data on energy consumption and charging. The new infotainment systems with 10-inch colour touchscreen use the integrated Snapdragon Cockpit and Auto Connectivity platforms from Qualcomm Technologies and enable, among other things, state-of-the-art graphics, multimedia and connectivity functions such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and 4G. Opel: Strong growth in Italy in July

• Opel Corsa posts record sales results
• With 125 years of automobile production, every Opel model has at least one battery-electric engine

Excellent sales results for Opel in July in Italy with a 32% growth in registrations of cars and commercial vehicles compared to the previous year reaching a total share of 3.3%, corresponding to a growth of 0.7 percentage points.

The result is driven in particular by car sales, which saw registrations grow by 43% and share by 0.9 percentage points.

Great performance by the best-selling Opel Corsa which achieved record results: +140% in registrations, a doubled segment share (11.6%) and tripled contractual collection from private individuals.

This great appreciation from Italian customers allows Opel Corsa to be the third best-selling car in its segment and the fifth overall in Italy; furthermore, Opel Corsa is the best-selling German car in Italy.

The new Opel Corsa captivates with its refreshed design, which includes the characteristic Opel Vizor at the front and the Corsa lettering confidently positioned in the center of the rear. State-of-the-art technologies make driving more relaxed. The new Opel Corsa offers a fully digital cockpit based on the Snapdragon Cockpit Platforms from Qualcomm Technologies 1, with a new, intuitive infotainment system and a color touchscreen of up to 10 inches. Electrification for All: New Opel Corsa Hybrid From €26,100

Opel Corsa has been shining in new splendour for a few months now – more modern, digital and diverse than ever with characteristic Opel Vizor brand face and two electric drives. Opel is now expanding drive range for small car bestseller. Opel Corsa is now available for first time as a hybrid with 48-volt technology. New Opel Corsa Hybrid comes with extensive equipment with prices starting at €26,100 (all prices RRP including VAT in Germany).

System features a lithium-ion battery that is recharged automatically under certain driving conditions and new turbocharged 1.2-litre three-cylinder petrol engines with 74 kW/100 hp and 100 kW/136 hp that have been developed especially for hybrid application. Engines are coupled to a new electrified six-speed dual clutch transmission and a 21 kW/28 hp electric motor.

Hybrid technology offers a wide range of advantages, especially for “electrification novices” who usually travel in urban environments: Compared to its purely conventional counterpart, fuel consumption and CO2 emissions are reduced by around 18 percent, and Corsa Hybrid customers can drive locally emissions-free at low speeds in the city and enjoy a high level of driving comfort thanks to the optimal coordination of the system. Thanks to the compact design of the hybrid system, no space is lost in the interior – and drivers do not have to recharge their Corsa Hybrid from an external source such as a socket or charging station.

Efficient, compact, user-friendly: Hybrid system in Opel Corsa

Opel Corsa Hybrid drivers can enjoy particularly efficient and user-friendly driving pleasure. Compared with the similar non-electrified Corsa 1.2 with eight-speed automatic transmission (fuel consumption in the WLTP 1 cycle: 5.5-5.4 l/100 km; 124-121 g/km CO2, both combined), 4 kW/100 hp new Opel Corsa Hybrid with the 48V technology (WLTP1 fuel consumption: 4.8-4.5 l/100 km; 108-101 g/km CO2, both combined) can save nearly 1.0 l/100 km of fuel (around 18 per cent) and also reduce CO2 emissions. Same applies to Opel Corsa Hybrid GS with 100 kW/136 hp, which is available from €30,190. Here too, fuel consumption and CO2 emissions are reduced by around 18 percent to 4.7-4.6 l/100 km or 106-103 g/km CO2 compared to the non-electrified petrol counterpart (according to WLTP 1).

System offers advantages above all in city traffic. Electric motor assists the petrol engine especially under acceleration, e.g. when launching from a standstill. It also contributes torque, especially at low engine speeds, which benefits driving dynamics and CO2 reduction. At low speeds, the electric motor also enables fully electric driving for up to one kilometre or up to 50 per cent of the time driven in the city (thanks to recuperation) – for example when manoeuvring. During deceleration, the petrol engine stops and the e‑motor acts as a generator to recharge the hybrid system's 48V battery. Compact and space-saving system is optimally coordinated to ensure the best performance at all times with the lowest energy consumption. Depending on their driving preferences, Opel Corsa Hybrid drivers can also choose between the three modes Eco, Normal and Sport.

Information at a glance: Fully digital cockpit with hybrid-specific displays

In the interior of Opel Corsa Hybrid, occupants can enjoy optional fully digital driver information display (standard on Opel Corsa GS). As usual, it displays all important information clearly – with additional helpful hybrid-specific information. Numbers on digital speed display shine white while the petrol engine is running. If this switches off and vehicle is operated purely electrically, display changes to blue. There is also a permanent power display (divided into Power, Eco and Charge) as well as a display that provides information about energy flow between battery, petrol engine and wheels as well as battery charge status. And most important data on distance traveled, journey time, average consumption, remaining range and percentage of route driven purely electrically can be read via the trip summary display when vehicle is switched off.

New Opel Combo Electric: Maximum flexibility in a modern design

Opel Combo is the ideal family vehicle. The new model continues to offer the tried and tested virtues and increases driving and travelling pleasure with new technologies, connectivity solutions and comfort details. Customers can once again choose from two vehicle lengths: The 4.41-metre version (L1) offers space for up to five people, while the 4.76-metre version (L2) can optionally accommodate up to seven passengers in three rows. If desired, the Combo Electric offers additional flexibility with three individual seats in the second row. Passengers enjoy the best views with the panoramic roof with electrically activated sun protection and versatile overhead storage. In total, 27 storage options with a total capacity of up to 186 litres offer plenty of space for travel essentials or everyday items.

Increased range: Up to 330 kilometres on a single charge

Battery-electric Opel Combo Electric in particular offers travel-friendly and resource-saving mobility without compromises. On the one hand, thanks to the practical underfloor location of the 50 kWh battery, it has exemplary space in the passenger and luggage compartment. On the other hand, the new electric vehicle makes locally emissions-free travel even more pleasant and can travel up to 330 km (according to WLTP 1) on a single charge – around 50 kilometres more than the previous model. This is made possible by the further development of the fully electric drive train and the highly efficient heat pump, which helps to conserve battery range in low temperatures.

Powered by the electric motor with 100 kW/136 hp and 260 Newton metres of torque, the new Combo Electric can reach a top speed of 135 km/h. Depending on their personal preference, drivers can choose between the Eco, Normal and Power driving modes. To ensure particularly energy-efficient driving, the Combo Electric has a regenerative braking system that can be adjusted in three recuperation levels using paddle shifters behind the steering wheel. With the 11 kW on-board charger, the battery can be recharged to 80 per cent of its capacity in around 30 minutes at a 100 kW public charging station.

Safety first: 18 state-of-art assistance systems in new Opel Combo and Opel  Zafira

Safety is also part of a relaxed journey. And this is a top priority for both the new Opel Combo Electric and the new Opel Zafira Electric. For the first time in its history, the spacious Combo comes with the adaptive, glare-free IntelliLux LED Matrix light – class-leading. A total of 14 LED elements – seven on each side – ensure that the road is optimally illuminated in the dark and without glaring other road users. Opel Zafira also has full LED headlights that light up the night, providing the driver with the best visibility.

In total, new Opel Combo Electric and new Opel Zafira Electric each offer up to 18 state-of-the-art driver assistance systems. Highlights include Adaptive Cruise Control with stop & go function as well as the high-resolution 180-degree rear-view camera. IntelliGrip with hill descent control provides a firm grip on difficult surfaces such as snow, mud or sand. Sensors at the front and rear as well as flank guard and blind spot warning facilitate safe manoeuvring. Numerous additional systems such as Driver Attention Alert, Traffic Sign Recognition, Lane Keep Assist and Forward Collision Alert with Emergency Braking complete the portfolio.

Safety and comfort are further increased by the ergonomic cockpit, which has been redesigned in both the people carriers. If desired, customers can order the fully digital 10-inch driver information display, which delivers all important information (including from the navigation system) and, for the battery-electric variants, also provides information on energy consumption and charging. The new infotainment systems with 10-inch colour touchscreen use the integrated Snapdragon Cockpit platform from Qualcomm Technologies2 and enable, among other things, state-of-the-art graphics, multimedia and computer vision functions. In addition, important functions can be operated via the “Hey Opel” natural voice recognition. Compatible smartphones can be wirelessly connected to the vehicle's multimedia systems using Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and charged inductively.

New Opel Zafira Electric:Comfortable, ultra-modern VIP shuttle for up to nine people

Anyone who wants to travel with a large family or needs a vehicle that is both flexible and comfortable to offer shuttle services will find what they are looking for in the new Opel Zafira Electric. The large people carrier is available in two lengths (4.98 metres and 5.33 metres) and offers space for up to nine people. If desired, it can be particularly comfortable in the rear with four independent, vis-a-vis seats. Sensor-controlled, electric sliding doors on both sides of the vehicle make it easier to get in and out of rows two and three. Optionally available panoramic glass roof creates an even more airy feeling of space and enables a clear view of the sky.

New Opel Zafira has a load volume of up to 1,500 litres in the configuration with nine seats. With five seats, up to 3,000 litres can be transported and 4,900 litres with two or three people on board. Further practicality is provided by the new Zafira Electric’s height – at just 1.90 metres it is fully suitable for underground car parks.

Travel further: Up to 350 kilometres on a single charge

In terms of efficiency and range new Opel Zafira Electric is even better than before. All-electric people carrier is available with either a 50 kWh or 75 kWh battery. With the further developed 75 kWh battery, a range of up to 350 kilometres (WLTP1) is possible between charging stops – over 20 kilometres more than before. To further increase energy-efficiency, the Zafira Electric has regenerative braking. The system can be adjusted to three recuperation levels using paddle shifters located behind the steering wheel. The shuttle and family all-rounder can be quickly charged with alternating current using the 11 kW onboard charger, which comes as standard in Germany. At a 100 kW DC fast charging station, the 50 kWh battery can be charged to around 80 per cent of capacity in around 38 minutes (45 minutes for the 75 kWh battery).

New Opel Zafira Electric is powered by a 100 kW/136 hp electric motor. Maximum torque of 260 Newton metres is available from the first squeeze of the accelerator, so that the locally emissions-free van can accelerate briskly up to a top speed of 130 km/h. Depending on their preferences, drivers can choose between three driving modes: Normal, Eco and Power.

With the new Opel Zafira Electric and the new Opel Combo Electric, families, shuttle services and anyone who needs a spacious, flexible and comfortable vehicle will be able to travel in an even more modern and efficient way. Opel will soon open the order books for the two large people carriers.

Stylish, electrified and practical: New Opel Vivaro unites car and LCV qualities

Versatile and practical in daily use, the new Vivaro is also good looking. The Opel LCV bestseller – like its smaller sibling, the Opel Combo – brings the characteristic Opel Vizor brand fascia to the LCV segment for the first time. The Vizor extends seamlessly across the front of the vehicle, integrating the headlights and the Opel Blitz emblem in the middle.

New Opel Vivaro Electric is available with either a 50 kWh or 75 kWh battery. With the further developed 75 kWh battery on board, a range of up to 350 kilometres (WLTP1) is possible without a charging stop – over 20 km more than before. To ensure particularly energy-efficient driving, the Vivaro Electric has a regenerative braking system that can be adjusted in three recuperation levels using paddle shifters behind the steering wheel. The electric vehicle can be charged quickly using the standard 11 kW onboard charger. At a 100 kW DC fast charging station, a short stop of around 38 minutes for the 50 kWh and 45 minutes for the 75 kWh battery is necessary to charge from 5 to 80 per cent of the battery capacity.

Completely new is the possibility of using the traction battery as a power source for other electrical devices. This works via the “e Power Take-off Unit” (initially with 400 V), which can be connected to the vehicle. In this way, no additional batteries or generators are needed. In addition, with a height of around 1.90 metres, the Vivaro Electric is suitable for underground parking and, thanks to the practical underfloor design of the battery, offers full versatility in terms of space utilisation and loading volume.

For those who want to drive with zero local emissions and “refuel” even faster, Opel will in future offer the further developed Vivaro HYDROGEN. The fuel cell vehicle has a range of more than 400 km (WLTP1) and can be refuelled with hydrogen in just a few minutes. Highly efficient diesel engines with power outputs from 88 kW/120 hp to 130 kW/177 hp complete the line-up.

The line-up of body variants is as wide as that of the drivetrain: the new Vivaro is available in two lengths (4.98 m and 5.33 m), as a panel van, a crew cab and a platform-chassis for a variety of bodies. Depending on the version, the new Vivaro offers up to 6.6 cubic metres of cargo volume and 1.4 tons of payload.

Car-like: New digital Opel Vivaro cockpit

The new Opel Vivaro cockpit welcomes the driver and crew with car-like ergonomics, comfort and styling. The new infotainment and navigation systems with a digital 10-inch colour driver information centre and 10-inch colour touchscreen above the centre console use – for the first time in Opel light commercial vehicles – the integrated Snapdragon Cockpit platform from Qualcomm Technologies 2 and enable, among other things, state-of-the-art graphics, multimedia and computer vision capabilities. Compatible smartphones can be charged inductively and connected wirelessly to the Multimedia infotainment systems via Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Eighteen advanced driver assistance systems make work trips and manoeuvring easier and safer. The new Dynamic Surround Vision is particularly beneficial, especially in a panel van. The system comprises two cameras, one located above the rear doors and another under the passenger-side exterior mirror. The images – of the rear while driving and (when activated by the indicator stalk) of the side blind-spot – are displayed in the new high-definition digital rear view mirror. In comparison to conventional mirrors, the system provides increased vision, enabling the driver to manoeuvre more safely.

Systems such as forward collision alert with emergency braking, intelligent cruise control, lane keep assist, drowsiness alert, trailer stability control and flank guard complete the range of electronic helpers. Adaptive cruise control with stop and go function is also available as a new option for the Vivaro.

In addition, the storage spaces around the instrument panel and the centre console have been enlarged, making it easier to stow everyday items. This makes the new Opel Vivaro a versatile “workhorse” and load carrier, which also offers the comfort and handling similar to those of a car, making the time behind the wheel more pleasant and relaxing.
