Opel Chief Marketing Officer Tina Müller has officially handed over a brand-new €20,000 ADAM Slam to the José Carreras Foundation. The car will be used by back2life, which was chosen in a lottery organized by the foundation among self-support groups, to help ease some of the pressures faced by the group’s volunteers and leukemia patients.

The foundation was established by world renowned tenor José Carreras in 1987 after he survived leukemia. He has since been active in helping people who are suffering from the same blood illness.

The Opel ADAM Slam will mainly be used by the back2life group to see to the transport needs of patients under the care of Dr. Johanna Schrum from the Hamburg-Eppendorf University Hospital and foundation member Gabriele Heitmann.
